Abstract:
I will present the notion of an R-mac, a generalisation of the definition of an N-dimensional asymptotic class given by Elwes, Macpherson and Steinhorn in 2007. I will then go over my current efforts to try to adapt the work of Cherlin and Hrushovski on Lie Coordinatisation to the R-mac setting. Joint work with Sylvy Anscombe (UCLan), Dugald Macpherson (Leeds) and Charles Steinhorn (Vassar).
